Shauna M Niland Accountants was established in 1995 by Shauna Niland. Before then she was working under Gordon Tolcher who had been working as an accountant in the Pine Rivers Shire over 40 years ago.
Originally Gordon started work as an accountant from an office in Lawnton until he moved to an office behind Petrie Village Shopping Centre. It was there in 1991 that Shauna joined him. They enjoyed a happy partnership that lasted for several years. Gordon was also actively involved in the community through his work with Pine Rivers Golf Club and the local firefighters. At the end of the financial year on the 30th of June 1995, Gordon Tolcher retired and sold the business over to Shauna. He later found out it was excellent timing as he left before the arrival of GST.
In 1996 Shauna took the business to 4 Baldwin Street, Petrie, where it currently operates from.
